Where the Light Rests began with one of those moments that makes you pull off the road and stop. While on St. Simons Island, I came upon the setting sun reflecting across the wet sand and water and parked along the shoulder just to take it in. For a few fleeting minutes, the light seemed to transform everything around it and the rest of the world fell away. I wanted to capture that moment—the stillness, the reflection, and the sense of simply resting in the beauty and vastness of creation surrounding us.
