This photo shows a baby sea turtle hatchling at the threshold where the sand meets the moving ocean. The hatchling is meeting the first gentle wave of foam, capturing the literal moment of first contact with the sea. Guided by instinct, he embarks on an unknown journey into the sea, to his true home. This represents the idea of his soul finding its deep, rightful place in the world. The sprawling, vast water dwarfs the tiny creature, highlighting his courage for the arduous journey ahead.
