The Light That Guides Us considers the lighthouse as both a familiar coastal landmark and a symbol of guidance, hope, and safe passage. The beam stretches across an unsettled sky while a small sailing vessel moves through the water below, contrasting something steadfast with something journeying and uncertain. Hand-carved in linoleum, the image reflects on our relationship with the sea and the enduring human desire to find a light that leads us home.
