As an avid birder and bird photographer I bring that background to my art. Birds offer unending opportunities to create works in all forms and media. The Great Efret is the “Big White Bird” in Southport. Its lores (in front of eyes) turn bright green and feathers grow long and graceful during breeding periods. These birds were hunted almost to endangerment for its beautiful breeding plumes. There are now laws that protect the bird and prevent the harvesting of its feathers.

Where the Soul Meets the Sea opens October 3. Purchased artwork remains in the exhibition through November 7 unless released earlier with curator approval.

Shipping & pickup: U.S. shipping: $35 per artwork. Free gallery pickup is available.

Pickup and shipping are available only after the exhibition closes November 7, 2026, unless the curator grants earlier release.
