Medium: Enameled Fused Glass with Metal Dimensions: 17" long x 10" wide by 2.5" high Artwork ID: A13-1
I built the mold for this piece to show what it could look like to scoop a section from the ocean and see it before it floated away. There are two types of fish, fish cut out of copper and fish sculpted from clay made from glass, painted with enamels, and fired. Special chemicals were used to create the bubbles associated with the sea. The top surface of this work is clear glass which makes it food safe. This is an art piece that should be hand washed and not used in a microwave oven.
